This Privacy Policy describes what data the Art Director service collects and processes, how it is used, stored, and deleted.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
We may process the following user data:
- email and account data;
- plan, payment, and usage-limit data;
- project information;
- project names;
- criteria extracted from brand guidelines;
- user notes and comments;
- audit results;
- creative decision statuses: approved / rejected / revision need;
- technical data: login date, in-service actions, analytics events, errors, and service logs.
3. Uploaded files
You can upload:
- brand guidelines in PDF format;
- creatives in PNG, JPG, WEBP, or PDF format;
- files up to 20 MB.
We do not store the original uploaded brand guideline and creative files on a permanent basis.
Files are used only to process your request: to extract criteria from a brand guideline or to run a creative audit. After processing we save not the file itself, but the result of processing — for example the list of criteria, comments, review results, audit history, and your edits.
To process AI requests, the service may use third-party AI providers and model routers, including OpenRouter. Such providers are used only to fulfil your request. We aim to use settings and models with limited data retention where technically available.
4. How data is used
We use data in order to:
- create and maintain your account;
- provide access to projects and plans;
- run creative audits;
- extract criteria from brand guidelines;
- store audit history;
- show you review results;
- provide support;
- process payments;
- improve the stability and quality of the service;
- prevent errors, abuse, and unauthorised access.
5. Payment data
Payments are processed through Stripe.
We do not store full bank-card details on our side. Payment information is processed by the payment provider Stripe in accordance with its rules and security policies.
We may store information about the payment status, plan, payment amount, payment date, and transaction identifier.
6. Other users' access to projects
On the Team and Agency plans you can invite other participants to projects.
If you invite another person to a project, that person may gain access to the data of that specific project, including criteria, audit results, comments, and review history within the rights available to them. You are responsible for whom you grant access to a project.
7. Data storage
We store account, project, criteria, audit results, and payment-history data for as long as necessary to operate the service, fulfil our obligations to you, provide support, account for payments, and comply with applicable requirements.
Original brand guideline and creative files are not stored on a permanent basis after processing.
8. Deletion of personal data
You can request deletion of your personal data.
To do so, email support@art-director.it.com.
In your message, please include:
- your account email;
- a request to delete your personal data;
- if needed, the project or account name.
After receiving the request, we will verify your right to deletion and process the request within up to 30 days.
If some data must be retained for legal, tax, payment, or anti-fraud purposes, we may keep the minimum necessary information for the period required by law or by our internal accounting rules.
9. Refunds
Refund requests are sent to support@art-director.it.com. Refund conditions are described in more detail in the Terms of Service.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect user data, including secure data transmission, access restrictions, and monitoring of technical events.
At the same time, no method of transmitting or storing data can be absolutely secure. You should look after the security of your own account and not share access with third parties.
11. Support widget
A support widget is available in the service. If you reach out through the widget, we may process the text of your message, your contact details, and the technical information needed to respond to your request.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is published on the service website. If changes are material, we will try to notify users by an available means.
