Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Art Director service. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service description

Art Director is an AI platform for reviewing creatives against brand guidelines, briefs, and additional criteria. As a user, you can:

  • create projects;
  • upload brand guidelines;
  • extract criteria from brand guidelines;
  • edit, delete, and add criteria;
  • upload creatives for audit;
  • run reviews;
  • receive a list of issues, recommendations, and remarks;
  • change the criticality of criteria;
  • add art-director comments;
  • make decisions on a creative: approve / reject / revision need;
  • view audit history;
  • invite other users to projects;
  • use billing and support.

2. Projects

A project is a workspace where you store criteria, brand guidelines, audit results, and review history.

Within a project you can:

  • add one or several brand guidelines;
  • upload a PDF brand-guideline file;
  • get a list of criteria extracted by AI;
  • edit criteria;
  • delete criteria;
  • add your own criteria;
  • add notes;
  • run creative audits;
  • view audit history;
  • invite other users to the project.

You can delete projects. When a project is deleted, its data may be removed or become unavailable in the interface.

3. Creative audit

For an audit, you can upload a creative in PNG, JPG, WEBP, or PDF format up to 20 MB.

When starting an audit, you select one or more brand guidelines to review against. You can also choose the media type and add an instruction, prompt, or note.

After the review, the service returns a list of criteria, remarks, recommendations, and possible issues. You can edit the results, change criticality, add comments, and make a decision on the creative.

AI results are supporting recommendations and do not guarantee absolute accuracy. The final decision about using a creative rests with you.

4. Plans and limits

The service offers a free plan, paid plans, a Pay-as-you-go format, and a custom / enterprise plan on request.

Free — free of charge

After the free reviews run out, you may be shown an offer to upgrade to a paid plan, including a time-limited discount with a timer.

Solo — $49 / month

  • extract and edit criteria;

Team — $99 / month
  • up to 500 reviews;
  • up to 5 users;
  • up to 20 projects;

  • access to support.
Agency — $199 / month (discounted)
  • up to 2000 reviews;
  • up to 20 users;
  • up to 100 projects;
  • invite users to projects;
  • create and edit projects;
  • upload brand guidelines;
  • extract and edit criteria;
  • creative audits;
  • audit history;
  • access to support.
Custom / Enterprise

If you need more projects, users, reviews, or individual terms of use, you can request a custom / enterprise plan through support.

5. Pay-as-you-go

You can use the Pay-as-you-go format.

Price: $1.50 per review.

You can top up your balance with a chosen amount and use it for reviews without being tied to a calendar month. For example, you can top up $60 and use it over several months. Charges are made for the reviews actually performed.

6. Payment and subscription auto-renewal

Payments are processed through Stripe.

You agree to pay for the selected plan or for Pay-as-you-go reviews in accordance with the current terms on the payment page.

For all paid subscriptions, including monthly and other recurring plans, automatic renewal applies by default. After the paid period ends, the subscription automatically renews for the next equivalent period, and the plan price is charged to the selected payment method, unless you disabled auto-renewal in advance.

You can disable auto-renewal at any time in your account through the subscription settings. After auto-renewal is disabled, the subscription remains active until the end of the already-paid period and will not be renewed automatically.

By paying for a subscription, you confirm that you are aware of the auto-renewal terms and agree to recurring charges until you cancel the subscription.

If a payment fails, access to paid features may be restricted until payment is successful.

7. Refunds

You can request a refund by emailing support@art-director.it.com.

In your message, please include:

  • your account email;
  • the plan or payment the refund relates to;
  • the reason for the refund;
  • the payment date, if available;
  • any additional details that help us process the request.

We review refund requests individually. Processing time is up to 10 business days.

If you topped up your balance or paid for a plan but did not use any reviews, we usually refund the unused amount. If part of the amount was spent on reviews, the cost of reviews already used is not refundable — in that case only the unused remainder may be refunded.

The service includes a support widget through which you can contact a manager, but an official refund request must still be sent to support@art-director.it.com.

8. Inviting users

On the Team and Agency plans you can invite other users to projects.

The user who invites participants is responsible for granting access correctly. Invited users can see project data within the access granted to them.

9. Restrictions

You must not:

  • use the service in any unlawful way;
  • upload files you do not have the rights to;
  • attempt to access other people's accounts or projects;
  • circumvent plan limits;
  • disrupt the operation of the service;
  • use the service to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing content.

10. Uploaded files

You are responsible for the files you upload to the service.

The service does not store original brand-guideline and creative files on a permanent basis. Files are used to process your request and produce the review result. We save the results of processing: criteria, comments, audit history, and your edits.

To process AI requests, the service may use third-party AI providers and model routers, including OpenRouter. Such providers are used only to fulfil your request. We aim to use settings and models with limited data retention where technically available.

11. AI results

The service uses AI models to analyse brand guidelines and creatives.

AI results may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete conclusions. You must independently verify the results before making business decisions, launching ads, sending a creative to a client, or publishing materials.

The service does not guarantee that a creative will be accepted by an advertising platform, will not be rejected by a client, or fully complies with all brand requirements.

12. Support

You can contact support through the support widget inside the service or by email at support@art-director.it.com. Response time and support availability may depend on your plan and the team's current workload.

13. Changes to the service and plans

We may change the features, plans, limits, and terms of use of the service. If changes materially affect a paid plan, we will try to notify you by an available means.

14. Termination of access

We may restrict or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms, attempt to circumvent restrictions, infringe third-party rights, or use the service in an unlawful way.

15. Liability

We are not responsible for your business decisions, the results of advertising campaigns, clients' decisions, the actions of advertising platforms, account blocks, creative rejections, or losses arising from the use of AI recommendations without additional verification.
